Defending the wording of Article of 41.2 of The Irish Constitution, Archbishop John Charles McQuaid wrote that 'nothing will change in law or fact of nature that a woman's natural sphere is in the home' (1937). This video installation explores the contradictions of defining woman's 'natural sphere' and the assignation of gender roles within the home. Projecting onto three pieces of furniture that my grandmother made, indoor domesticity contends with the outdoor landscape  (Ban an Tí Group Exhibition, The Chocolate Factory, Dublin, 2017).
